10th Post: Anne Frank

Why are there so many books, movies, documentaries, etc. about the Holocaust? Why do we keep retelling this story?
I think there are so many books, movies, documentaries, and etc. about the Holocaust because some people think the Holocaust is a fake like people think that America never went on the moon. There are so many books, movies, and documentaries about the Holocaust so people can prove that the Holocaust did really exist and that it was a gruesome event that happened. Also, the Holocaust was a big thing to history. History is really important in our lives because it is the past of the same world we are living in. We should know the earth’s past life like we should know our own past life. It is a really important event that people should learn because it teaches this world that prejudice had a big impact to this world and caused destruction. So telling people about it would maybe stop prejudice and maybe stop it from happening again from the effects of it. Also, there are people who survived the Holocaust and if people didn’t know what the Holocaust was and how dangerous it was for Jews, the Jews that did survive would feel upset.
